The Ultimate 30-Day Declutter Challenge

Hey friends,

I wanted to take a moment to connect with you as we wrap up the 30-Day Declutter Challenge. I hope you’re feeling great and starting to enjoy the benefits of the work you’ve put in. It’s hard to get started, but you can do it.

The biggest hurdle to decluttering, is getting started. If you have completed the challenge YOU know this to be true! If you have fallen off the decluttering wagon along the way, you are not alone. It’s not too late to start again. Here are my tips:

  1. Set 15 minute timers- go in with a trash bag and get rid of the obvious.
  2. Once you do that, begin grouping like items. For example, my decor closet. I see frames, decor, artwork, and sewing supplies. I decide to start with the frames and decide if I want to keep them.
  3. Now I create boundaries. How many am of any one item am I keeping? whether a shelf or box, decide if you want to fill a container or challenge yourself to purge half of the frames.

For any items that you are unsure about, create a maybe box.

The timer is the most helpful and taking it one step at a time will keep you moving in the right direction. Any progress is good progress and the time spent decluttering is worth it. Not only that, but you also reap the benefits mentally immediately.

We hit the pain points of the home together—and while I don’t have a magic wand to instantly simplify life, what I could offer was 30 days of focused attention. And I know from experience: small daily steps add up to big transformation.

A Few Things to Remember

  • One week at a time. One day at a time. You don’t have to do it all at once.
  • Good enough is good enough. Progress matters more than perfection.
  • Set a timer. Even 10–15 minutes of focus can completely reset a space.

You’ll be amazed at what you can do in a short amount of time!

If you’re new to decluttering, I encourage you to revisit this challenge in 90 days or 6 months. Each time you move through your home, you’ll notice it gets easier—and you’ll be ready to let go of even more.

Decluttering and creating systems truly changed my life, and I want that same freedom for you too.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m so proud of the work you’ve done, and I hope you are too. See you soon!
